The Biologics (Bio) Business Unit Strategy & Growth leader will be responsible for developing the strategy and executing on the top priorities to drive the achievements of the Business Unit's strategic objectives.

In support of business growth, innovation, margin expansion and customer experience goals, this role will identify, prioritize, and advance organic and inorganic opportunities that drive growth. They will partner closely with portfolio, program and functional leaders to define a cohesive Business Unit strategy. This person will be accountable for alignment of BU strategies to the broader Waters Division and enterprise. They will be expected to influence and inform business leadership up to and including the Waters Executive Committee and CEO on long-term strategies and investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the VP/GM of the Business Unit and the Leadership Team to set strategic priorities and execute through a broad range of stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Ensure long-term business growth by designing and developing a multi-year strategic plan based on keen customer understanding, rigorous market assessment and in full alignment with portfolio teams
  • Support identification and evaluation of organic and inorganic business opportunities that could impact growth and profitability
  • Provide business analysis and market research for business portfolio, covering key market dynamics, major business opportunities & challenges and competitive trend
  • Develop strategic marketing plans inclusive of setting goals, defining target audiences, and determining the best marketing mix. Develop Marketing campaigns that drive demand; align with BU and Regional teams to roll out campaigns: tactics and KPIs
  • Attract, retain, and develop high performing team.
