Overview

Waters Corporation is seeking a motivated Source to Pay Principal to support the Global Business Services Finance Transformation.

This position reports to the Global Process Owner (GPO) and is responsible for coordinating process improvement efforts, benchmarking our services against industry standards, and ensuring that Water's complies with auditing requirements for the end to end process. The position requires strong collaboration, communications and change management skills, as well as significant experience in the Source to Pay process.

This position is Hybrid in Milford, MA.

  • Support a cross functional global process council to prioritize a portfolio of initiatives and manage progress against defined milestones and savings targets.
  • Make continuous improvement recommendations and present project conclusions to businesses, functions and management by leveraging leading practices, monitoring performance metrics, and benchmarking performance across end-to-end business processes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency effectively presenting complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner and facilitating meetings with Directors, Vice Presidents, and Business owners.
  • Analyze root cause problems and process mapping, assessing metrics, quantifying project findings, benchmarking performance, and synthesizing results. Recommend and implement methods to sustain improvements through metric and control monitoring.
  • Facilitate issue escalations and resolution via coordinating solution development across the project team, steering committee, and key business stakeholders.
  • Act as a Source to Pay process SME and Liaison for key projects including system implementations.
  • Participate in governance meetings, often preparing for and leading team meetings.
  • Develop and run performance improvement metrics and business case realization.
  • Responsible for performing quality audit sampling as required by process. Reporting to Global process owner for alignment to the global standards.
  • Provide periodic training for key process changes to the service delivery teams.
  • Update Desktop procedures and training materials accordingly.
  • Analyze team performance and suggest potential training curriculum to the Global process Owner.
  • Ability to influence a cross-functional global team.
  • Apply the principles and tools of process ownership with the ability to share examples across end-to-end processes, offer alternatives, and provide constructive feedback to create a culture of continuous improvement throughout Waters.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • The position requires strong collaborative, communication and change management skills.

  • Work with businesses and other leaders across the organization to proactively identify, prioritize, and facilitate Source to Pay improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field, MBA preferred
  • Approximately 5-10+ years of experience in finance and procurement.
  • Experience in using SAP accounting and purchasing modules.
  • Experience in using S/4 Hana is a plus
  • Experience in using Ariba Source to Pay modules is a plus
  • Experience in AP automation is a plus
