About the role:

Waters is seeking a bright, results-driven Software developers to works in a fast-paced, agile environment with a team of diverse engineers that possess a true passion for technology. This role plays a critical part in the development and implementation of new features for Waters brand new B2B eCommerce site. As a member working in a team environment you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development, programming, and coding of web front-end and back-end solutions using technologies like React, Java EE, Spring Boot, Python, and JavaScript in an agile environment.
  • Assist in translating business goals into technical requirements to support the development of scalable and stable web and mobile solutions.
  • Collaborate with Visual Design, User Experience, and development teams to implement front-end features for the com B2B eCommerce site.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies such as React, Java EE, Spring Boot, REST, JSON, GIT, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, and JavaScript to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Support and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, agile development, and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in information technology, computer science, or a related field through academic and/or professional exposure.
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, HTML5, React, Python, and related technologies, with a capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
  • Ability to convert design comps and wireframes into flexible, reusable code.
  • Experience working in agile and scrum environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in presenting ideas and analysis to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Artifactory, and Datadog is a plus.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology or related experience
