Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Developer you will:

• Contributing to the design, implementation, deployment, configuration of scalable services and applications with focus on Quality and Security.
• Being part of an Agile team using good communication and collaboration skills to optimise delivery
• Following good practices and governance, including security and automated testing
• Demonstrating solid judgement in technical matters and act on the solutions under own guidance
• Training and mentoring

Qualifications

To be successful you will:

• Computer Science or a related discipline work experience required
• Solid knowledge and proven experience as a software developer, with exposure to elements of our back end technology stack (C#, .Net, .net core).
• Front-End JavaScript Frameworks, especially Angular
• Experience working with API development or Microservices
• Knowledge and application of software engineering practices (e.g. Unit testing, TDD, CI/CD, SOLID, BDD etc.).

Desirable but not crucial:

• Working in an Agile environment
• Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), with Gherkin & SpecFlow
• Atlassian Jira, Confluence
• Software security best practices and implementation (e.g. OWASP, PKI, X509 Certificates, TLS)
• Software development for regulated environments
