Overview

Waters is actively seeking a Senior Operational Technology (OT) Analyst.

This exciting role involves driving improvements in the digitization and security of our manufacturing systems and providing support to our European manufacturing operations.

As the Senior Analyst, you will be play a critical part in the design, deployment, maintenance and security of our global OT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies and roadmaps, collaborating with IT and Operations teams to uphold the highest standards for our industrial systems, and to deliver value through the digitization of manufacturing processes.

The position will report into the Global IT organisation and offers the flexibility to be based in either our Wexford, IE or Wilmslow, UK facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Architectures: You will provide innovative solution architectures to satisfy our manufacturing digitisation and automation requirements, ensuring a secure and efficient operational environment.
  • Operational Technologies: You will oversee the delivery and support of core operational technologies and standards, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of our OT systems.
  • Standards and Procedures: You will support the delivery of standards, methods, and procedures for the design, modification, and maintenance of our manufacturing OT systems, with a keen focus on security considerations.
  • Equipment Classification: You will identify and deploy processes to inventory and classify industrial equipment, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our OT assets.
  • System Resilience: You will identify and deploy processes to manage industrial control system resilience, ensuring our systems are robust and can withstand potential threats.
  • Partnership: You will partner with IT and manufatcuring to ensure the protection of the Industrial Control Systems and networked devices, fostering a secure and efficient environment.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in OT systems and cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of OT systems, industrial data collection (e.g MES, Ignition, UNS), ICS and SCADA security considerations and risk management

Competencies:

  • Ability to analyze complex security issues and provide pragmatic solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Travel (If Applicable): Occasional international travel may be required.
