As Senior Financial Accountant, you will serve as a trusted Business Partner to our business management team to increase efficiency and to encourage high performance culture. Our Finance team is a professional, yet comfortable group to work in. You will utilise your expertise in strategic projects and execute them with the support from the team. Responsibilities

  • Develop European GAAP Accounting Center of Excellence
  • Responsibility for selected accounting and month-end close activities for all or a group of entities in Europe
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless and timely information flow in both directions
  • Drive harmonization of European Accounting Processes
  • Drive efficient GAAP to STAT process for Europe

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should bring along:

  • A university degree in Accounting or Business Studies or equivalent; additional Accounting or Tax qualification would be advantageous
  • Professional experience in a BIG 10 Audit Firm or equivalent role
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting rules, demonstrated both in theory and practice.
  • International and diverse environment experience
  • Work experience in matrix organization with internal controls
  • MS Office Package, excellent Excel skills
  • SAP and Blackline experience would be advantageous

  • Flexibility to work on multiple accounting topics
  • Project and change management skills are an advantage

Travel:

  • A valid passport will be required;
  • This position requires occasional travel abroad for activities such as meetings and training.
