Overview

Waters TA Instruments Germany, DACH Region, are seeking a Sales Support Specialist!

As a member of this team, you will be a strong contributor within the Sales and Application team in Germany to grow the business, ensuring an efficient and accurate administration support.

You will have professional level German and English languages and have excellent customer relationship and organisational skills, with a willingness for teamwork.

This role is a strong foundation to learn and develop, with the opportunity to grow into an Inside Sales of Field Sales position if desired.

This role is hybrid, the successful candidate will be required on site in Eschborn 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities, not limited to:

  • Processing of tender forms and submission to the various tender portals.
  • Receiving and forwarding customer enquiries to our sales force, offices in Europe and headquarters in the USA.
  • Preparation of quotations for the technical sales staff, managing the quotation system for the sales organization.
  • Translating or reviewing marketing material from English to German, reviewing translation via programs as necessary.
  • First personal telephone contact for TAI customers.
  • Planning and organization of sales events such as trade fairs, seminars and congresses in consultation with sales management and marketing.
  • Monitoring of the general email inbox for the DACH TAI team.
  • Screening for new potential accounts guided by the sales management.
  • Organization of our customer courses in Eschborn (processing customer inquiries, sending appointment confirmations, name badges, certificates of attendance, catering, advice on hotel reservations).
  • Maintaining customer master data/contacts in the CRM system for the German, Austrian and Swiss markets.
  • Maintenance of device master data in SAP for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will:

German and English Language skills to professional level.

Outstanding organisational skills.

Solid team player with high degree of self-motivation

You may hold a qualification in any of the areas below, to allow you to develop within sales:

Chemical or chemical engineering, materials science or a similar field

Qualification as chemical technical assistant, physical technical assistant or similar.

Industrial business management assistant.

Science related background and education would be beneficial.
