Overview
The Strategy & Operational Excellence team is on a mission to improve both our customer and employee experience by transforming how we plan, buy, make, and distribute products in Waters Global Operations. As a Principal Operations Program Manager, SAP S/4 Hana (Asia Region), you will be a critical member of the team responsible for overseeing and executing a major SAP S/4 HANA upgrade program reporting to the Sr Principal Program Manager, Supply Chain Transformation. You will be working closely with colleagues and partners across the APAC region to ensure a successful transition to SAP S/4 HANA for our regional distribution centers and warehouses. This will require you to draw on your program/project management experience and a deep understanding of operations, particularly as it relates to procurement, fulfilment, and distribution.

Responsibilities
- Drive process harmonization across the Asia Region in conjunction with the global team, ensuring designs are globally standard and regionally relevant
- Ensure local requirements are understood and incorporated into the overall set of requirements
- Oversee regional execution of the program and realization of benefits
- Collaborate with Capability Team leaders to understand their objectives and roadmaps for driving changes in processes, metrics, and supporting tools
- Collaborate with Site Leadership Teams to understand their objectives for driving improvements within the site / plant in relation to prioritized capabilities
- Support both Capability Teams and Site Transformation Teams by developing / maintaining aligned roadmaps, objectives, metrics/targets, and execution plans
- Implement program management practices and tools to continuously improve project execution, tracking, and reporting across the portfolio
- Present outcomes, roadmaps, progress, etc. regularly to stakeholders at all levels
- Ensure compliance and alignment with the Program Management Office (PMO) standards and processes
- Identify, address, and report risks and escalations to relevant leaders and steering committees
Qualifications
- 7+ years progressive experience in managing large-scale, global supply chain / manufacturing operations programs and projects
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex SAP S/4 implementation projects
- Experience driving Supply Chain process transformations
- Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong influencing skills, proven ability to work across organizational boundaries driving change and harmonization across a global organization
- Results oriented mindset, operates with high sense of urgency. Proven track record of solving problems, breaking down barriers and delivering results ahead of schedule
- Strong written and verbal communication at all levels of the organization
- Experience managing complex programs in Jira
- Knowledge of business process management approaches a plus
- ASCM / APICS certifications a plus
- Master's Degree in an Engineering, Science or Supply Chain discipline
