Overview

This position reports to the Senior Director, Order to Cash (OTC), and will represent the OTC strategy on our S4 Hana enterprise program as a guide - making high value decisions on the direction of this transformational program. They will also act as the liaison between the regional service delivery teams, the Senior Director, and the Finance Transformation/Service Infrastructure team on a variety of high impacting, pivotal initiatives.

The Regional Senior Process Principal is responsible for using their industry expertise to identify and drive highly impactful global process improvement efforts, benchmarking our services against industry standards, researching alternatives when benchmarks are not available, and handles high profile internal customers, strategic external partners and suppliers in a consultative capacity for Order to Cash.

This is a hybrid position in Milford, MA

Some travel of up to 20% may be required in the future.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead projects by demonstrating leading practices, monitoring performance metrics, and benchmarking performance across end-to-end business processes. Projects should focus on value drivers (cost, quality, delivery, revenue).
  • Apply expertise to optimally present complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner and facilitate meetings with Senior Management and Executives to influence strategic direction.
  • Analyze root cause problems and process mapping, assessing metrics, quantifying project findings, benchmarking performance, and synthesizing results. Recommend and implement methods to sustain improvements through metrics and control monitoring.
  • Facilitate the most complex issue escalations and resolution via coordinating solution development across the project team, steering committee, and key business partners.
  • Implement long term, high value solutions to address multi-dimensional problems/projects taking into account a high volume of tangible and sometimes intangible variables
  • Find opportunities for process automation (RPA); develop cases; lead program globally for OTC business team from prioritization to implementation. Apply expertise to troubleshoot the most complex challenges and drive impactful solutions.
  • Training/Desktop Procedures
  • Provide periodic training for key process changes to the service delivery teams.
  • Update desktop procedures and training materials accordingly.
  • Analyze team performance and suggest potential training curriculum
  • Governance/Service Infrastructure
  • Drive creation and maintenance of all aspects of Service Infrastructure, including capacity planning, SLA's, and desktop procedures.
  • Participate in Shared Service governance meetings, often preparing for and leading regional meetings.
  • Act as a process SME for key Service Infrastructure efforts (e.g. business continuity planning, capacity planning, and performance metric creation and realignment).
  • Quality/Audit Compliance
  • Responsible for performing regional quality and SOX audit sampling as required by process.
  • Responsible for Key Controls Matrix for Region
  • Responsible for regional SOX program coordination, reporting to Senior Director, Order to Cash for
  • alignment to global standards.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA Preferred. Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience:

  • Approximately 12+ years of experience in Finance and Shared Services.
  • Demonstrated past of using significant judgement and autonomy to drive business results. Has shown comfort in taking high level direction and making strategic plans that align to strategic direction.
  • Demonstrated functional expertise in a global, dynamic, and deadline driven environment.
  • Expertise is supported with professional certifications, functional education and/or deep industry relationships.
  • Expertise with Internal Controls and SOX/404 requirements
  • Expertise in Process Mapping and Change Management.
  • Expertise in creating impactful KPI's and generating benchmarking analysis. Initiates research on standard processes that are unavailable related to knowledge areas.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems that may be related to process, technology, or strategy.
  • Expert on all details regarding Order to Cash Service infrastructure and organization design.
  • Mastery of functional knowledge of key business processes (Order to Cash); demonstrated business acumen to learn other business fields; has shown adaptability in strategic scenarios and for highly complex problems.
  • Prior Robotic Process Automation experience.
  • Prior business case development experience a plus.
  • Experience with implementation of technology programs that support global process improvement. SAP Preferred. Ability to quickly learn and productively use new software applications.
  • Strong proven experience in project/service line management
