Overview

This position reports to the Senior Director, Order to Cash, and acts as the liaison between the regional service delivery teams, the Senior Director, and the Finance Transformation/Service Infrastructure team. The Regional Process Principal is responsible for coordinating regional process improvement efforts, benchmarking our services against industry standards, ensuring that our service lines stay in sync with auditing requirements, and participates in all service infrastructure efforts for the Order to Cash end to end process.

The position requires strong collaboration, financial acumen, willingness to challenge the status quo, communication, sense of urgency, ability to implement, leadership, and change management skills as well as experience driving business change projects.

This is a hybrid position in Milford, MA

Some travel of up to 20% may be required in the future.

Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead project by demonstrating leading practices, monitoring performance metrics, and benchmarking performance across end-to-end business processes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency effectively presenting complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner and facilitating meetings with Directors, Vice Presidents, and Business owners.
  • Analyze root cause problems and process mapping, assessing metrics, quantifying project findings, benchmarking performance, and synthesizing results. Recommend and implement methods to sustain improvements through metric and control monitoring.
  • Facilitate issue escalations and resolution via coordinating solution development across the project team, steering committee, and key business stakeholders.
  • Training/Desktop Procedures
  • Provide periodic training for key process changes to the service delivery teams.
  • Update desktop procedures and training materials accordingly.
  • Analyze team performance and suggest potential training curriculum
  • Governance/Service Infrastructure
  • Drive creation and maintenance of all aspects of Service Infrastructure, including capacity planning, SLA's, and desktop procedures.
  • Participate in Shared Service governance meetings, often preparing for and leading regional meetings.
  • Act as a process SME for key Service Infrastructure efforts (e.g. business continuity planning, capacity planning, and performance metric creation and realignment).

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA Preferred. Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience:

  • Approximately 8-12+ years of experience in Finance and Shared Services.
  • Experience in a global, dynamic, and deadline driven environment.
  • Experience with Internal Controls and SOX/404 requirements
  • Experience in Process Mapping and Change Management.
  • Experience creating and maintaining KPI's and benchmarking analysis.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems that may be related to process, technology, or strategy.
  • Expert on all details regarding Order to Cash Service infrastructure and organization design.
  • Functional knowledge of key business processes (Order to Cash); demonstrated business acumen to learn other business fields.
  • Prior Robotic Process Automation experience.
  • Prior business case development experience a plus.
  • Experience with implementation of technology programs that support global process improvement. SAP Preferred. Ability to quickly learn and productively use new software applications.
  • Strong proven experience in project/service line management
