Overview
Waters Corporation is seeking a reliable, hard-working, self-motivated candidate to join our organization as a Material Handler II. The Material Handlers oversee movement of material in and out of our Stockroom in support of Assembly Operations and Machining Operations. This includes timely and accurate receipt, movement, storage and control of materials to enable the success of our internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Pick material per Factory Orders and ensure timely delivery of material to internal customers
- Support receiving and stocking of raw materials
- Assist with packaging of finished goods as required
- Participate in ongoing inventory control activities including cycle counting and reconcile inventory discrepancies when required
- Embrace a continuous improvement mindset with the aim to eliminate waste and improve efficiencies
- Assist in reviewing and updating documentation for related processes.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to perform a variety of material handling functions relating to the receipt, movement and storage of a broad range of materials.
- Ability to read and comply with documentation and procedures necessary to perform transactions and control of materials.
- Ability to utilize computers, barcode scanners, scales, manual pallet jacks and material handling equipment
- Ability to obtain a power industrial license. (fork truck / stock picker)
- Ability to use MS Office and SAP is highly desired
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal; Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work non-standard/additional hours when necessary based on production demands.
