Overview

Waters has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for an Jr. Order Operations Specialist to support Korea for Field Operations on a one-year maternity leave replacement basis.

This temporary position will be responsible for managing orders to cash processes for Waters' business in Korea. Based in Seoul, South Korea, the role reports to the Order Operations Manager.

The successful candidate for this position shall own ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment and execute daily routine tasks with great attention to details and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Process orders in full cycle from order entry to invoicing accurately with accordance to Waters guidelines and policies
  • Liaise with relevant internal and external parties to manage and resolve all issues relating to order fulfilment and as directed by team leader/manager
  • To ensure all necessary documentation is in place to enable transit from origin to destination without delays and in accordance with customer need and foreign trade regulations
  • Demand planning: SAP Ordering Process and close collaboration with Global & Regional Operations team to ensure efficient operation between distribution center and customers
  • Close monitoring of backlogs to expedite on time deliveries with no past dues
  • Provide post-sales support such as physical return, replacement, and others
  • Perform back-up / standby duties as needed to ensure smooth daily Order Operations

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in commercial/business management or other discipline with minimum of 4 years' working experience in Customer Service/ order management/ logistics
  • Multi-national company experience preferred
  • Proficient in Korean & English and written communication skills
  • Proficient in office software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with knowledge of financial and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, AO, Salesforce)

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills showing ability to accelerate change, work in a rapidly changing environment and operate independently to deliver business results
  • Must be a motivated self-starter and independent worker with a desire to lead through action
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to details
