Overview

The application chemist team is primarily responsible for technical support for China region. As an integral part of this team, the role of application chemist is to provide technical support, handle the Demo and application projects for customers, demonstrate the solution to prospective customers etc. Waters is actively seeking a motivated individual as our application chemist, who would work closely with the Marketing Manager to drive the market using the applications and technology, and help to increase the business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the solution based on the products, to meet the need in China's Market
  • Handle the Demonstration experiments
  • Demonstrate the total solution for prospective customers
  • Visit and communicate with customers about our solution, based on the keen understanding of the customers
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure business growth

Qualifications

  • Master's degree above in analytical chemistry, polymer material, organic chemistry or related field
  • Strong self-motivated and work independently under stress
  • Ability to focus on detail while prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good web, Word, and Excel capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; polish written skills in English
  • Passionate in learning high-tech science
