Informatics Solution Specialist ( Temporary Full time)

Overview

Waters, the world's leading specialty measurement company that cares about inclusion and diversity is seeking for an an Informatics Solution Specialist to support the successful growth of our businesses across Europe and UK.

The Informatics Solution Specialist will focus on the delivery of consulting services. The candidate will demonstrate a clear grasp of the customers' business and is able to take that knowledge into a solution with a primary aim of bringing "customer success". This position brings a great degree of flexibility between working in the field (50%) and working home-based (50%).

This is a one-year-plus temporary full-time position.

The position can be fulfilled from any location in Europe or UK.

  • Deliver consultancy services on workflow analysis and improvement;
  • Deliver data integrity and compliance services;
  • Deliver customer training;
  • Maintain contact and ensure follow up on all customer projects;
  • Develop the consultancy business by improving efficiency.
  • Implementation new technologies
  • Data Analysis

Education:

Bachelor/Master degree in sciences or equivalent experience.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in a laboratory environment or consultancy.

Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English;
  • Knowledge of another European language (French, German, Spanish ...) is a plus;
  • Strong team player with self-starting mentality;
  • Excellent organization of time and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to develop relationships with customers and within the company;
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Autonomy in remote working (home based);
  • Open mindset;

Travel:

Ability to travel up to 25%, only in Europe and UK. Preferred location close to an international airport.
