Overview
The Finance Manager - Americas FP&A - owns the financial planning, analysis, and processes in support of our Americas Commercial Business Unit, helping to enable and drive long term, balanced growth for the company. This role is a key member of the Americas Finance team, reporting directly to the Sr Director of Americas Finance. This position plays a significant role in the development and implementation of financial, strategic and growth objectives striven to provide long term profitable growth for the region.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all FP&A responsibilities for the Americas Commercial Operations, including but not limited to, our Annual Operating Plan, monthly forecasts, month end closing analytics, development of executive level presentations, strategic planning, and sales/expense analytics
- Responsible for driving annual and long-range planning by defining financial targets and KPI's for the business to ensure the corporation meets its operating objectives
- Assist with clearly communicating a cohesive and concise story about financial results, focusing on business drivers behind financial data, and potential implications on future results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on major company initiatives, provide value-added financial analysis and support of business reviews and decisions from the financial perspective, including but not limited to, operational efficiency, cost saving opportunities, capital expenditure decisions, vendor selection and negotiation, etc.
- Development of executive level presentations, including monthly and quarterly financial reviews, annual operating plans, and other reviews
- Actively collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional departments to drive results
- Drive operational improvements and efficiencies
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all consolidated reporting of the division results

Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance; preferably MBA and/or CMA or CPA certification
- 7+ years of dynamic finance experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; influencing peers to complete deliverables
- Proficient in US GAAP
- SAP, Analysis for Office and PowerBI experience a plus
- Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency, a plus
- Experience in scaling growing business is strongly preferred
- Operates with integrity, visibility, and humility
- Acts as a true company owner to advance the overall interests of Waters
- Carries a broad global perspective of markets, tech, and trends
