Organizational Structure

Waters Clinical Business Unit (CBU) is an APAC regional team that focuses on the Clinical and Forensics markets, and the CBU Customer Success team is a cross regional team of service engineers and applications specialists dedicated to ensuring that our customers achieve their goals. In doing this we work closely with the Waters Division service teams.

Responsibilities

Core functions

  • Manage India support response through CBU engineers, Franchisee Engineers and Waters Division Engineers to ensure CBU expectations of response time and repair time.
  • Ensure compliance with and from Waters India Service Team and hold them responsible for their part in achieving CBU support expectations, while maintaining a good working relationship.
  • Drive plan to plan, warranty to plan and billable to plan sales in India.
  • Provide a level 2 escalation service to support our clinical customer's Empower, LC and LC-MSMS systems, primarily for India but also through the APAC region as required.
  • Provide an installation and implementation service for clinical systems where gaps exist.

Extended functions

  • Educate and train CBU service engineers on the use of LC, MS and software
  • Provide technical input to assist in pre-sales opportunities
  • Monitor and advise for spares inventory levels for CBU in India

Qualifications

Required Skills and Background

  • Waters certification for service of UPLC and Xevo series tandem quadrupole systems
  • Experience working with MassLynx software and Empower
  • 8 years of experience in a service role of UPLC and MS

Optional skills and background (none of these are required, but each one will give an advantage to the applicant)

  • Experience in working on clinical sites, and knowledge of clinical applications
  • Waters certification for service on ToF instruments
  • Experience in UNIFI/Waters_Connect
  • Experience of automation or robotic sample preparation systems e.g. Hamilton, Tecan, Andrew+.
  • Good communications skills
