Your New Role

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Internal Communications, Corporate to lead the strategy and execution of internal communications across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Internal Communications, you will support company-wide initiatives, collaborating closely with various teams to oversee operational alignment, manage content creation strategy and execution, and provide strategic counsel to leadership and cross-functional teams. This senior leadership role will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative communication initiatives that foster employee engagement, align teams with the company's vision and objectives, and strengthen the organizational culture. You will support the head of internal communications in setting long-term objectives, ensuring the team operates efficiently, and driving alignment with the organization's mission and values.

You'll play a vital role in shaping and amplifying the internal messaging that fosters alignment, engagement, and connection across the organization. This includes collaborating on communications projects for employees across all businesses and geographies, helping to advise, develop, produce and implement communication programs targeted towards global employees.

We are seeking someone who will be comfortable working with a number of partners, across many subject areas.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor and partner to the SVP of Internal Communications, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Serve as a point of contact and strategic advisor for senior leaders, offering strategic advice on internal messaging and change management efforts and providing counsel on messaging, engagement, and organizational communication priorities.
  • Drive and oversee internal communication campaigns, ensuring messages are clear, engaging, and aligned with company priorities.
  • Partner with HR, Operations, and other functions to support cultural initiatives, change management, and employee engagement programs.
  • Lead cross-functional collaborations to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging across all internal channels.
  • Drive consistent messaging and alignment across all internal communication channels, including intranet, email, town halls, and leadership forums.
  • Provide support in crafting and delivering executive communications, including speeches, presentations, and key messages.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communications, leveraging insights to refine strategies.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with the company's mission, goals, and values.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in consumer marketing or employee communications strategy, implementation, and analytics.
  • Ability to plan and drive projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience handling creative teams (design and writing) and the creative development process - preferably in an internal communication, marketing or advertising agency setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to draft content and messaging for a range of internal communication channels including employee emails, newsletters, websites, Keynote presentations, digital screens, social, etc.
  • Adept at managing high stakes corporate communications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning, organization and implementation skills
  • Structured/analytical thinker with outstanding attention to detail Innovative, with a critical/creative thinker attitude
  • Proven success in managing international collaborations
  • Experience in interacting with and influencing all levels of management
  • Ability to work independently, able to work a flexible schedule, and embrace change and ambiguity enthusiastically
  • Strong active-listening skills
  • BA/BS degree in journalism or English or creative writing or communications/public relations or related field required
