Your New Role...

As the UK People Development Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing the skills, knowledge, capabilities, and overall potential of individuals within our UK Studio, Tours & Retail teams, through creating and delivering best-in-class training and development programmes.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Continuously review and manage the monthly Warner Bros. Studio Tour London (WBSTL) New Starter training and Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden (WBSL) Induction/Onboarding programs.
  • Support the People Development Director in coordinating bi-monthly Welcome to WBD sessions.
  • Build strong relationships with the WBD L&D team to leverage and scale training programs.
  • Collaborate with People Development Managers in other markets to share best practices.
  • Deliver Creating Exceptional Experiences sessions for Tours & Retail onboarding.
  • Facilitate 8 Week Catch Ups post-induction to monitor and improve onboarding effectiveness.
  • Engage external trainers for ad hoc training needs across WBSL.
  • Partner with P&C and Senior Leadership Teams to deliver Line Manager training.
  • Track and update monthly training plans and monitor attendance.
  • Design and deliver bespoke Leadership training from Team Lead to Senior Management levels.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Prior experience in a related environment (media, entertainment, business development).
  • Proven ability to design and deliver training in person and virtually, at all levels.
  • Proven ability to coach others.
  • CIPD Certificate in Learning & Development or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence with a professional, diplomatic and confident approach at all levels.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work; willing to learn and get involved with duties outside of day-to-day job description.
  • Ability to take initiative using own discretion and skills and work with limited supervision in a pressured environment.

Company Overview...

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a purpose built, state-of-the-art film and television studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. This 200-acre secure site has half a million square feet of stage space, production offices and workshops together with an exterior filming tank, one of the largest indoor heated underwater filming tanks in Europe and a 100 acre back-lot. WBSL has some of the largest sound stages in the UK and is proving to be a very popular facility for production clients.

WB Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for Production Companies. The site also has its own, on-site Set Lighting & Rigging rental division, which provides the industry with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding and production supplies for stage and location shoots. WB De Lane Lea based in Soho, London, provides state of the art facilities in audio post-production for feature films and television.

WBSL also have an onsite childcare facility available to WB employees, onsite productions called The WonderWorks and Zone10 - an onsite gym facility to support the physical and mental wellbeing of all our employees.

These facilities make Warner Bros. Entertainment the only Hollywood studio to own and operate a production and post-production facility in the UK.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter (WBSTL) is a unique attraction which offers visitors the ultimate chance to get up close to authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series. This includes walking through the real Great Hall of Hogwarts, stepping onto the original Hogwarts Express, learning wand combat, riding a broomstick and tasting Butterbeer.

The Studio Tour which is open seven days a week has welcomed over 15 million visitors and has been well received with 96% of the 46,000+ reviews on TripAdvisor rating it as 'Excellent' or 'Very Good' and over 60,000 4 or 5 star ratings on Google Reviews. It operates on a pre-book only basis with a peak day accommodating 7200 visitors. The Studio is an ever evolving and growing visitor attraction, delivering a world class experience from the first point contact with our visitors to the last.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
