Your New Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Business Analyst to drive the Technology Business Management (TBM) framework and ensure alignment between technology costs, business outcomes, and value realization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, financial acumen, and a passion for optimizing IT investments. They will act as a bridge between finance, IT, and business stakeholders, developing models, insights, and recommendations that shape business strategies and financial decisions.

The Business Analyst is a key member of the Technology Business Solutions (TBS) team within the Technology & Operations (T&O) Enterprise Architecture and Technology Strategy (EAS) organization and reports directly to the TBM Director.

  • Lead the development and implementation of cost allocation methodologies and IT financial transparency initiatives.


  • Analyze technology spend vs. business value to provide data-driven recommendations based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and utilization.


  • Proficiency in requirements definition, documentation, and gathering to drive specific KPIs and/or outcomes.


  • Develop and maintain business cases for IT investments, evaluating ROI and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).


  • Support IT budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with financial planning.


  • Build chargeback/showback models that demonstrate cost transparency and accountability.


  • Build and maintain Run-the-Business (RtB) vs Transform-the-Business (TtB) TCO models that demonstrate cost transparency, consumption, and accountability.


  • Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT teams to optimize vendor spending.


  • Develop and support TBM and T&O KPIs and financial metrics that track IT cost efficiency and business impact.


  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve IT financial governance and spending discipline.


  • Provide regular executive-level reporting and QBR data on IT financial performance and key insights to support key meetings.

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent relevant work experience.


  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, FinOps/fintech, IT finance, or Technology Business Management (TBM) related roles.


  • Strong knowledge of IT Financial Management (ITFM), TBM principles, and cost optimization strategies.


  • Familiarity with accounting rules - experience with cost allocation models, chargeback/showback, and IT cost transparency.


  • Proficiency in with MS Excel.


  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Apptio) is a plus.


  • Experience with IT vendor management, ITIL (ITSM), and procurement analysis is a plus.


  • Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Local Atlanta-based candidate, highly desired. Relocation not available for the role. Visa Sponsorship is not approved for this position.
