Your New Role...
The role of Performer sits within the Show Experience Department at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, whose team members are key to creating an experience that exceeds visitors expectations at every step. This role is an exciting opportunity to showcase a brand new, never seen before experience to our visitors across our busy summer period.
We are seeking experienced performers with strong dance ability, who are keen to engage with the world of Harry Potter through regular demonstrations to up to 7,200 visitors per day.
Due to operational needs, we are only seeking performers who are available 5 days per week across the whole contract - we are not able to take on part time contracts or those with extended periods of leave throughout the contract.
All applicants must be available to work 5 days per week through the period stated: 6th May - 8th September.
Performers must be available for all rehearsals on site at WBSTL between 29th April to 13th May. Initial auditions will take place between 3rd - 7th Feb and second round recall auditions will be 10th - 14th Feb - all applicants must be available for at least 1 date (daytime and evening) on both weeks to attend WBSTL site to an audition.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Build excitement for Harry Potter through engaging demonstrations.
- Perform all set choreography with energy, characterisation and passion as guided by the Choreographer and Show Experience Management.
- Ensure that presentation standards (costume, hair and makeup) follows guidance set by Show Experience Management and is of a consistently exceptional standard.
- Time management is essential - be ready and prepared for all set showtimes.
- Hold pride for your workspace - keep a safe and tidy working area and green room space.
- Take due care of all assigned costumes, accessories and makeup, as directed by Show Experience Management.
- Adhere to and champion all guidelines and policies in accordance with WBD policies and procedures.
- Work with a diverse and varied team of approximately 30 Performers, 130 Interactors, 8 Team Leaders, and 3 Department Managers.
- Respect and support each other at every step. Show generosity through a positive and constructive approach.
- Within this fast-paced role, approach change with curiosity and open-mindedness.
- Actively listen and lead with empathy, integrity, and transparency.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Female presenting performers must be between 5'4-5'8 (+ or - by 1 inch) and Male presenting performers must be between 5'9-6'2 (+ or - by 1 inch) to ensure continuity with existing media.
- Strong skills in dance, acting and performing is essential.
- Some performers must be comfortable dancing in small heels, providing/applying their own makeup and styling their hair independently with the guidance of Show Experience Management, according to the requirements of the character they are portraying.
- Ability to contribute positively and enjoy working effectively as part of a large and varied team.
- Demonstrable ability to learn new skills and adapt to new situations within a visitor focused environment.
- Eagerness to exceed expectations and go the extra mile at every opportunity.
Working Pattern...
- You must be available to work 5 days per week. You will be required to work weekends as part of this working pattern. Weekend work includes both Saturday and Sunday. All working patterns will include weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Your normal hours of work are between 9am and 8pm, but this will vary on a rotational basis.
- You will be required to perform an exciting demonstration ran every 30 minutes, with a short rest break in between each demonstration. There may be the potential to perform light lifting and work outdoors in all weather conditions as you transfer from the green room space into your performance space.
- The demonstration you perform in may contain water-based smoke effects, flashing lights, pyrotechnics and sudden loud noises. Please ensure that you are comfortable working in these conditions before applying.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
