Your New Role...
The Streaming PR Placement Intern, EMEA will play a supportive role in content publicity campaigns across EMEA, focusing on local original programming from across the region, supporting local PR leads in execution. This is a position that plays a role in the wider publicity team, enhancing campaigns to sustain growth for the Max streaming platform.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Support the existing team with liaising with the local PR leads to establish content priorities for each market and implement strategy to enhance local originals across EMEA.
- Aid development of full lifecycle campaigns to support local original productions internationally, from announcement stage through to production, release and awards.
- Assist the wider International Publicity team to identify press opportunities on HBO and Max Originals for the region including EMEA press participation in set visits, junkets and premieres.
- Provide support and guidance to local PR leads pursuing in-region talent tours and identify opportunities to maximise to benefit wider EMEA region.
- Contribute to team meetings and support in creation of reports, presentations and written tasks.
- Take ownership of collating coverage for HBO, Max and Discovery Networks content.
Qualifications & Experience...
- You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2027.
- A good level of understanding of the television industry
- A keen eye for detail and reporting
- A good standard of technological know how
- Demonstrable PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Creative, outgoing and proactive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritise multiple workstreams
- A team player who is ready to work with others from the wider organisation, mostly in multiple offices across EMEA
The Internship...
- Salary: £25,000 p/a
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Start Date: 30th June 2025
- You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.

Next Steps...
- Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 17th November (you will not be able to apply after this date).
- Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 24th November.
- Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in December & January.
- Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place February-March.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
