Your New Role:
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for working with the Operations and Engineering Teams in support of strategic improvements of the global network platform focusing on the Burbank Studios network fabric. The individual will be continually evaluating processes and technology solutions to ensure expected outcomes are achieved in the most efficient way whilst documenting any improvements to help ensure standards and processes are followed.
Working closely with studio operational teams, internal and external productions and studio-based clients to ensure that individual requirements are satisfied. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will also be responsible for working on large studio focused projects and will be responsible for individual contributions to budgets and schedules, all while ensuring that quality and business agility needs are fully addressed.
Your Role Accountabilities:
OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT/ENGINEERING
- Support WBD Burbank Studio network infrastructure and related services 24*7 by responding to and resolving all service requests and trouble tickets within a stipulated SLA time
- Work directly with production and studio tenants to ensure the network is delivered to specific needs
- Collaborate on network infrastructure modernization and expansion projects in an engineering and design role.
- Documentation of operational configuration changes and process improvements
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in network engineering in an enterprise network production environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or similar preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Arista network vxlan fabrics required
- Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, HP, Palo Alto - preferred
- Wireless management in a campus environment preferred
- Experience with Arista Cloud Vision preferred
- Modern scripting skills required - Python preferred
- Experience in Film/Television and Broadcast Production environments. Preferred
- Process oriented engineer with strong execution and follow-through skills
- Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload
- Strong and consistent customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Strong team member with self-motivation and desires to improve the infrastructure
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must participate in an on-call rotation for out of hours support
- Minimal travel anticipated for this position
- Must have the legal right to work in the US

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $110,040.00 - $204,360.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
