Your New Role:

As Sr. Manager of Security Architecture, the ideal candidate is expected to:

  • Develop and maintain the Enterprise Security Architecture framework, ensuring scalability and resilience.


  • Manage and lead technical staff in accordance with WBD's policies and structures


  • Provide technical leadership and management of Security initiatives from conception through deployment and handover.


  • Collaborate with our corporate functions, including Internal Audit, Legal and Compliance, Privacy, and Sourcing, to ensure that WBD maintains a strong cybersecurity posture.


  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive vision and strategy for enterprise-wide security architecture initiatives in order to effectively and securely support the organization in meeting specific business technology needs.


  • Drive consideration of cybersecurity tools and datasets to enhance detective and preventive control sets.


  • Understand technical security issues and the implications to WBD businesses and be able to communicate them to management and other business leaders.


  • Understand emerging security technologies and determine the appropriate use within business applications.


  • Maintain and enforce WBD's cybersecurity policies, standards, baselines, and secure design documentation.


  • Execute and improve WBD's security architecture review process and ensure compliance for all business initiatives.


  • Execute and improve WBD's policy exception technical review process and ensure compliance for all business initiatives.


  • Lead the design and deployment of internal security solutions (e.g., SIEM, EDR, firewalls, WAF, DLP, SOAR, Vulnerability Scanning and Data Management Tools, deception technology, etc.).

Your Role Accountabilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and management of Security initiatives from conception through deployment and handover.


  • Develop and maintain the enterprise security architecture framework, ensuring scalability and resilience.


  • Manage and lead technical staff in accordance with WBD's policies and structures.


  • Conduct security audits and assessments to regularly determine the effectiveness of security platforms and identify areas of improvement.


  • Research and explore emerging security technologies and determine their appropriate use within the company.


  • Execute and improve WBD's security policy exception and technical architecture review process.

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • 9+ years of experience in Enterprise Security Architecture, Security Engineering, or Cybersecurity leadership roles.


  • Strong expertise in network security, application security, cloud security, and security frameworks.


  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, CMMC).


  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, firewalls, WAF, XDR, CASB, SOAR, and DLP technologies.


  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.


  • Capable of directing technical teams towards the methodical and expedient analysis of complex business architectures in a high-stress and visibility environment.


  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate within the context of the intended audience, whether that be senior executives or highly technical engineering resources.


  • Hands-on technical experience with cloud infrastructure and concepts, specifically the security aspects thereof.


  • Hands on technical experience with Network and Compute architectures and, specifically, the security aspects thereof.

Not Required but preferred experience:

  • Security and Cloud certifications are a plus. (CISSP, etc.)


  • Experience in Cloud Platform Management and Cloud Security

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $140,070.00 - $260,130.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
