The Specialist, Brand Strategy & Solutions - Development, Streaming & Franchise is a member of Warner Bros. Discovery's Brand Strategy & Solutions group within the Ad Sales division focused on the pre-sale development of strategic, cross-platform ad and product solutions, and sales marketing collateral designed to drive demand for the Streaming division including Max (with a focus on HBO & Max Original Series) and Franchises (Harry Potter, DC Comics, etc.).

The Specialist will work directly with Account Executives and their leadership on client-specific requests to create original, industry-leading RFP responses that deliver on clients' business objectives/priorities.

This person will be responsible for leading the development of revenue-driving marketing campaigns and programs, helping Warner Bros. Discovery push the boundaries of what's possible in today's evolving world of media. The Specialist will report into a Sr. Director and will also work directly with Ad Sales, Max Originals Marketing, Franchise Development and more as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This person will work directly with account executives and sales support groups to develop streaming and cross-platform marketing solutions for RFP responses, proactive pitches and key meetings. Their role will be to quarterback the strategy and development of each proposal with insightful ideas that help shape the overall direction and development of the response's narrative.


  • This person will be responsible for crafting clear, concise, best-in-class RFP responses that leverage data, insights, and custom ad solutions to position WBD's streaming content and platforms as delivering on clients' marketing objectives.


  • This person should be well-versed in translating client briefs and objectives into creative, marketable solutions that seek to push the envelope.


  • This person will add value by bringing new ideas to the table, asking questions and pushing innovation throughout the marketing process from brainstorm to proposal development and pitching to clients.


  • This person will develop sales marketing collateral such as new opportunity decks, category decks, content packaging, ad product positioning, case studies, etc. as needed -maintaining an active role from beginning to end.


  • Daily, this person will work closely with counterparts within the organization including, but not limited to, brand studio, sales, research and activation to gather information, approvals, mocks, etc. to build strategic presentations.


  • This person will support the Sr. Director and other Streaming BSS team members with additional requests as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years media or integrated marketing experience at a media company, agency, or brand with an emphasis on custom marketing solutions. A strong digital/streaming background is a MUST.


  • Love of the pitch process and ideating marketing solutions; excited by the prospect of solving a brand's marketing needs.


  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills; a keen understanding of how to craft compelling narratives to support marketing strategies.


  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently while communicating and collaborating effectively with a variety of stakeholders.


  • Expertise in digital marketing with strong understanding of video, social, OTT, and emerging formats.


  • Informed perspective on the overall media landscape, trends, consumption habits, and challenges. Knowledge of TV landscape/capabilities a plus.


  • Detail-oriented, organized and extremely creative; a creative problem solver.


  • Expertise in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications; a strong understanding of Keynote and other presentation products a plus.


  • Strong design ability a huge plus.


  • Intrinsic curiosity and interest in the ad marketplace and cross-screen media consumption.


  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal tracking systems and procedures.


  • Upbeat, can-do, proactive attitude. Ability to stay calm under pressure with a sense of humor.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $50,400.00 - $93,600.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
