Warner Bros. Games Boston is a Warner Bros. Games development studio focused on creating free-to-play games for mobile platforms. The studio is utilizing its extensive expertise in creating persistent online worlds that foster powerful social gaming communities to develop its hit mobile game, Game of Thrones: Conquest.
Your new role....
WB Games Boston is looking for a motivated Senior Producer to join our talented team building industry-leading free-to-play mobile strategy games.
As a Senior Producer, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations for a part of the game team, delivering schedules and roadmaps, managing relationships within the team and with external partners, delivering a high quality final product, and having fun while doing it. You will support all parts of the development lifecycle, from early concepts through to live operations.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Work with the production leads and the team to make plans and execute against those plans
- Build a functional, cross-discipline development team, capable of delivering quality work on time
- Coordinate the efforts of internal and external resources, including customer service, development partners, and publishing partners
- Define and evangelize development processes and tools that lead to successful outcomes
- Evaluate risks and communicate them clearly
- Prioritize development efforts to keep the team aligned on the right goals
- Build on the culture of inclusivity and growth
- Anticipate and plan for project challenges
- Collaborate effectively with other disciplines to achieve the best outcomes for the team and the project
- Maintain documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing
- Other duties as specified by management
Experience & Requirements...
- 5+ years production experience in the video game industry with increasing responsibility
- 3+ years of free-to-play mobile game development experience
- Strong project and time management skills with the ability to focus on priorities, problem solving, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines
- Strong understanding of mobile technology and platform
- Expert in project management methodologies including scrum, agile and waterfall
- Excellent written, oral, and email communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic, positive, team-oriented attitude
- Familiarity with current free-to-play mobile games
- Affinity for strategy games and the Game of Thrones universe
