Seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst multidisciplinary team owning governance for forecasting and reporting / analytics as the single point of contact for labor planning. Our daily work is focused on commitment & the highest confidentiality. It's an exciting, fast paced organization that provides a unique opportunity to learn the financial processes within the compensation and benefits domain and ensure alignment with other functions and business partners.
The Sr. Financial Analyst position is responsible for execute annual and quarterly labor planning process, support month-end close activities, develop ad hoc reports and provide high quality financial information and insights to business partners across Studios areas in WBD. Additionally, the Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for improving planning processes reducing frequency and time spent in reconciliations and assist in enhancement system testing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure deep knowledge within the team related to cost of personnel domain
Performing detailed reviews of headcount and staff costs with HR partners and business
Execute planning and forecasting of personnel cost of P&L and provide commentaries for on the variances/drivers v prior forecast / budget / PY to stakeholders
Supporting month end close process to FP&A perspective with variance analysis focusing in personnel cost.
Monitor actuals utilization bs budget/ PY and provide required commentary on key variances
Perform ad hoc in-depth analysis per request not covered in monthly or quarterly reports
Implement and maintaining standard FP&A processes within the personnel cost to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of these processes
Work proactively together with the Business Partners in the area of personnel costs (system implementations, standard process design, development of required reporting)
JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Work Experience
4+ years previous experience in a finance, accounting or auditing environment a plus.
FP&A and/or entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
Business analyst or financial analyst experience a plus.
Public or private audit and/or consulting experience a plus.
Experience with system implementations and testing a plus.
Experience in a large corporate environment a plus.
Evidence of progressive responsibilities and contextualization of understanding.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree required. (Finance, Accounting, Economics, preferred)
Knowledge/Skills
Strong to expert competency with MS Excel and Word, and PowerPoint required.
SAP experience preferred.
Adaptive experience preferred.
Other Requirements

Must have strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
