Your New Role
The People & Culture Coordinator will support the Studio Operations, Tours/Retail, Post-Production and Global Security People & Culture team as well as the business by assisting in the development and execution of HR initiatives that ensure Warner Bros. Discovery remains an employer of choice, providing solutions to employee-related matters, and assisting with general project management, conflict resolution, relationship management, etc. This position relies heavily on the use of Excel (including complex formulas) and Workday. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.
The People & Culture Coordinator will be a positive self-starter who can think strategically about big picture business goals as well as tactically execute a full range of People & Culture initiatives. In this dynamic culture, the role will serve as a partner to the business and a liaison with the broader HR community of Warner Bros. Discovery. Candidates for this position should be innovative, solution-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and be able to engage with colleagues across level, location, and discipline. The role must effectively work in a fast-paced creative environment, bringing an energy and enthusiasm to the function, founded in sound strategy.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Supports the People & Culture team that supports Studio Operations, Tours/Retail, and Global Security, by providing project coordination and assisting in the implementation of corporate programs, talent management, compensation planning, employee development, performance management, change management initiatives, company communications, etc.
- Handle routine inquiries, correspondences, and departmental administration for the People & Culture team.
- Work with data and metrics, using Excel and Workday.
- Handle on-boarding and off-boarding process for all employees (full-time, temporary and intern)
- Coordinate with external temporary agencies.
- Create presentation decks, charts, graphs, and various materials, as needed.
- Serve as a People & Culture point of contact, intake information/requests from employees and managers, and assist the People & Culture team to resolve in a proactive and positive manner.
- Apply and communicate company policies.
- Develop strong working relationships with all People & Culture COE functions (including Recruitment, HRIS, Payroll, Workforce Administration) to provide 'seamless' support and guidance to the business.
- Oversee and manage COVID-19 protocols, act as liaison to Safety and Environmental Affairs department for covid related matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within Human Resources, highly preferred

- High level of proficiency with Excel formulas, formatting, pivot tables and other analytical functions.
- Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices.
- Experience in working with a culturally diverse workforce.
- Knowledge of national, state and local Employee and Labor Relations practices, laws and regulations.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $42,210.00 - $78,390.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
