Your New Role...

The Network Engineer will collaborate with operations and engineering teams to strategize, manage, and improve global network platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include regularly evaluating processes to ensure efficient outcomes, identifying service improvements, and documenting these changes to ensure adherence to standards and processes. The individual must be a strong team player, self-motivated, and committed to enhancing the infrastructure.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Effectively support all DCI network infrastructure 24*7 by responding to and resolving all trouble tickets within the stipulated SLA time - 40%
• • Clearly understand the root cause of all the network outages and take remediation steps to prevent the recurrence of the problem - 10%
• • Ability to prioritize work based on business criticalities and also be flexible to work on ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager - 20%
• • Fully understand and adhere to the team's network standards and procedures both in technical and functional areas - 20%
• • Maintain positive relationships with all user communities, peers and the management team - 10%
• • Perform other duties as needed including being on call

Qualifications & Experience...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or similar.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in network engineering in an enterprise network production environment.
• Strong skills with these vendors: Juniper, Arista, Cisco and the routing protocols BGP, OSPF.
• Strong skills with multicast protocols (PIM SSM, MVPN) and network protocols, standards, and policies.
• Understanding of load balancing, remote access, DNS, DHCP and IPAM platforms.
• Process-oriented engineer with strong execution and problem-solving skills.
• Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and leading technical projects.
• Strong and consistent customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and learn across various areas.
• Abilities to speak and to work in an English environment.
• Must have the legal right to work in France.

Preferred qualifications...

• Data Center experience with spine and leaf environment.
• • An experience working with Multicast would be appreciated.
• • Multicast protocols knowledge: PIM SSM, MVPN.
• • Sports/TV/Event networking experience - multicast networking, distribution and contribution.
