Monetization Technology Theatrical Distribution Business Analyst Intern: LA - Summer 2025

Your New Role
This internship will be located in the LA area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager's in office schedule.
Would you like to be a member of a world class technology team, delivering and supporting solutions for the Motion Pictures division? You can by becoming a Business Analyst Intern in the Global Monetization and Studio Technology department. Gain experience in the areas of business process analysis, functional design, problem solving and client relationship. We build and support systems for Theatrical Distribution, domestically and worldwide. Which means that for the WB films that you see playing at your local theaters, our applications help the business accomplish their tasks to make that happen. From the planning of the film's release, to the sale to exhibitors, to the digital distribution to theatres, and the box office reporting and revenue collection, to name a few.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Work on Theatrical Distribution systems supporting domestic and worldwide distribution.
- Assist the business and application support teams in various design, Analysis, solutioning, technical documentation, and/@or testing tasks.
- Attend project meetings with technology and business.
- Learn about the Theatrical Distribution timeline of a film and its related operations from a technology respective.
- Learn valuable business analyst skills along the way.
Qualifications & Experience
- Good communicator and writer.
- Knowledgeable of tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint/Teams.
- Good understanding of Software Development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, etc.).
- Eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, analytical thinker.
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
- Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.
- Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.
What to know before applying:
The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks.
Program date options:
- Option 1: June 2nd - August 15th
- Option 2: June 9th - August 22nd
- Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
- Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
- Interviewing will take place from February through mid-April. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns.
