Your New Role
Warner Bros. Discovery is recruiting a Marketing CRM Specialist to join its EMEA Retention Team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the expansion of Warner Bros. Discovery's CRM activities into new markets across the EMEA region. Working at the intersection of local, regional, and global teams, this role is critical in ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence for CRM initiatives.
This role focuses on steering, coordinating, and enhancing CRM marketing efforts across email, push, and in-app channels to drive customer engagement, retention, win-back, and up-selling strategies for entertainment shows, major sporting events, and lifecycle campaigns.
The Marketing CRM Specialist will act as a key liaison between local market teams and the broader global marketing organization, ensuring seamless collaboration and consistency in CRM strategies tailored to regional dynamics and growth opportunities.
Your Role Responsibilities
- Support EMEA Market Expansion: Partner with the Retention Director and local market teams to develop and execute CRM strategies for entry into new territories, ensuring alignment with regional business goals.
- Liaison with Global and Local Teams: Serve as the primary contact point between local EMEA markets and global stakeholders to ensure CRM activities are well-coordinated, optimized, and aligned with company objectives.
- Strategic CRM Campaign Management: Plan and guide multi-channel CRM campaigns, leveraging email, mobile messaging, and web to maximize subscriber engagement and retention.
- Standardize CRM Practices: Define and implement best practices for contact plans and database segmentation, working closely with local teams to standardize and optimize CRM operations across regions.
- Lifecycle Campaigns: Oversee the planning and execution of targeted campaigns for entertainment launches, major sports events, and other lifecycle initiatives in collaboration with local market teams.
- Testing and Optimization: Drive A/B and multivariate testing to refine segmentation, personalization, offers, content, calls-to-action, timing, and frequency across campaigns.
- Analytics and Reporting: Develop benchmarks and work with CRM data analysts to monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights to drive improvements.
- Cross-Regional Collaboration: Ensure seamless communication and knowledge-sharing across European and global teams to foster innovation and efficiency in CRM practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- Fluency in Turkish and English (written and verbal) is essential.
- Proven experience managing CRM initiatives in a consumer-facing organization, with exposure to subscription-based business models.
- Expertise in email marketing fundamentals, including segmentation, deliverability, and key performance metrics.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing multi-stakeholder projects across multiple regions.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, agile environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Proactive mindset with a strong focus on growth, innovation, and problem-solving.
- Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus.
- Adobe Photoshop skills are a bonus.
- Passion for the streaming and sports industries is a strong advantage.
