The Job
The Transfer Pricing Manager will be a key role in WBD's global transfer pricing team. The role will focus on global transfer pricing planning, audits, and controversy management. The candidate is expected to be knowledgeable in both US and OECD transfer pricing rules, experienced in transfer pricing audits, APA's and/or MAP's, and fluent in English. Strong Microsoft Office and communication skills are essential. This position is based in Mexico City.
The Daily
- Supporting global transfer pricing planning projects. 20%
- Supporting global controversy management (APA's and/or MAP's).20%
- Supporting tax and transfer pricing audits.20%
- Responding to requests from internal and external auditors.20%
- Supporting intercompany agreements.10%
- Project management and administrative duties.10%
The Essentials
- 5+ years of transfer pricing planning and/or controversy experience.
- Familiarity with US and OECD transfer pricing regulations.
- BS/ BA or MS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with and explain complex TP concepts to cross-functional business partners and external advisors.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure while showing attention to detail
- Experience preparing transfer pricing documentation.
- Experience managing external transfer pricing advisors.
- Experience responding to requests from tax administrations.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
The Nice to Haves
- MBA or equivalent certification a plus.
- Knowledge of media industry.
- Fluency in Spanish.
