Your New Role...

The TNT Sports Live Events team is responsible for developing and executing consumer-facing, live events across the company's rights portfolio that engage attendees, enhance broadcasts, and generate opportunities for partner activation and participation. The group works closely with Sports Ad Sales, TNT Sports Broadcast Production, House of Highlights, Integrated Marketing, Bleacher Report (B/R) Content & Consumer Marketing teams across these events to create memorable experiences for those attending in-person and viewing from home or on a device. The team's event work includes:

• Nine NCAA Fan Events/Fan Festivals NCAA Championships within the NCAA Corporate Champion and Partner program, including the Men's Final Four Fan Fest, March Madness Music Festival and Tip Off Tailgate at Men's Final Four

• NHL on TNT events, including Winter Classic pregame activation and concert

• Bleacher Report fan-facing events

• The Match golf franchise

• House of Highlights Creator League and Showdown franchises

• Various live POD and VOD casts

• Other tentpole events within growing rights portfolio

In addition to the internal work, the group has produced events for external clients and has an ongoing relationship with Capital One to manage their college sports activation program.

TNT Sports Live Events team is responsible for all aspects of the live events, including concepting and ideation, budgeting, production and operations, activation execution, live audience experience, and sales deliverables, including on-air look-ins and integrations. The group also works closely with sponsors and activation agencies to ensure seamless partner integration into the events.

The Manager's primary responsibility will be ensuring the success of our clients' on-site activations at TNT Sports-produced live events. Leading day-to-day management of sponsor and partner integration, this position's work will include serving as the primary point of contact for all sponsored event elements, and will require building relationships, managing logistics, leading communications, and handling creative approvals. Additionally, this position will lead ideation, build, and execution of new activations, and assist with marketing, PR and signage elements within TNT Sports tentpole events. The Manager will work on multiple events over the course of the year, which will include Final Four Fan Fest, NHL on TNT Barnburner at Winter Classic, NCAA Championship Fan Fests, Bleacher Report productions, and additional events. Experience working on large-scale consumer events in a client-facing role is a requirement as well as strong communication skills.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • A key aspect of this position will be sponsor / partner management. In this role they will serve as primary point of contact for event sponsors, both those producing their own activations and for those opting into turnkey activations provided by the Event. They will lead communications and calls with partners, report out key updates to team members and internal groups. Will work closely with the Ad Sales team and League representatives to ensure proper communication across the groups. They willcollaborate with the operations team on sponsor logistics and will oversee the build and creative elements for any turnkey activations. Additionally, they will manage timelines and assist with budget management.
  • The manager will guide new event activation concepts and brand moments from ideation through execution. This includes researching, concepting and working with the creative team to develop, render, and build decks to aid in the pitch process to clients. They will develop and manage comprehensive activation budgets, identify and manage production teams and fabrication vendors, will have oversight of the onsite build and will manage the day-to-day event execution. They will also work through the branding and approvals process, will secure brand ambassadors and develop staffing briefs. Additionally, they will work closely with internal sales and integrated strategy teams on pitch decks and will attend client meetings as needed.
  • Additionally, this role will serve as the Events team lead for collaboration with the marketing and PR teams internally and with league partners as it pertains to on-site live events. They will oversee the approval process for event marketing elements which may extend to website graphics, copy, social creative, live streaming and on-air deliverables. They will aid in securing all necessary approvals and will assist the PR team with any press release content and approvals and onsite needs.
  • At select events this manager will be asked to lead and execute the creative/signage process. This includes coordinating available branding opportunities with the signage company, attending site visits, providing creative direction to both internal and external designers as needed. They will develop the signage budget and work closely with the event manager on all signage elements including install and removal as well as obtaining any necessary brand approvals.
  • Additionally, this position will be responsible for coming up with creative ideas on enhancing the branding of our events.

Qualifications & Experiences...

  • 4-6 years of working in client management on large-scale consumer-facing events


  • Experience in media and entertainment industry, preferably working with major sports property and / or leagues


  • 3-4 years of event activation and brand management experience


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Slack


  • Understanding of production and operations as it relates to experiential activations


  • Strong communications skills both written and public speaking


  • Proven experience forecasting, managing and reconciling budgets


  • Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills


  • Must be able to multi-task in a highly productive, fast-paced environment


  • Ability to work with a team, communicate effectively


  • Strong work ethic with an ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to a variety of event environments

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $59,500.00 - $110,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
