The Role

As Corporate Communications Manager for APAC, you'll play a central role in our organisation's regional team. You'll support the Head of Communications and market communications leadership on a range of activities, including corporate messaging, media relations and corporate events for both internal and external audiences, as well as communications operations for the regional team.

The role reports to the Head of Communications, Asia Pacific, and will directly support several APAC Leaders. It will work closely with other local functions such as Marketing, Programming, Creative, Advertising Sales, Commercial Strategy, as well as the wider APAC Communications team.

The ideal candidate will be a key player in creating strong corporate and engaging stories for our wide variety of brands, while maintaining consistency of voice across communications channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Head of Communications, APAC in strategic corporate communications activities, including corporate messaging, media relations and corporate events for both internal and external audiences, as well as communications operations for the regional team such as strategic planning and media operations.
  • Central APAC Communications lead for global projects, including DEI, CSR, Technology.
  • Oversight and execution of key partnerships and industry events, awards and engagements that further all corporate communications initiatives.
  • Work with APAC leaders and market heads to identify communications opportunities and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them.
  • Provide counsel, in consultation with Head of Communications, APAC, for internal and external crisis situations when required, including proactive planning for high-risk matters and reactive issues management.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with media and industry bodies that are relevant to the above strategies.
  • Develop clear KPI's and measures of success for all communications initiatives
  • Partner effectively with all internal functions, including content, marketing, PR, research, commercial and advertising teams.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in corporate communications.
  • Independent thinker with a strategic mindset.
  • Dynamic personality, adaptable with a high-degree of professionalism and a team player.
  • Comfortable with a large, diverse workload and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders across a global company and timezones (including senior executives).
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess priorities and always maintain composure and diplomacy.
  • Excellent English written and verbal skills.
