Your New Role:

The Lead, Product - WFM P&C Technology oversees the service management and application ownership of WBD's Online Time & Attendance (OTA) and Workforce Management (WFM) platform. This role ensures comprehensive application management by collaborating with internal technical teams in India and utilizing top-tier solutions to fulfill business requirements.

Key responsibilities include leading the internal support team to deliver application management and enhancements for Workbrain, addressing the needs of clients, Union stakeholders, and Payroll. The role involves monitoring SLA metrics, identifying risks, and escalating issues to senior management. Additionally, the lead manages a pipeline of enhancements and project requests, focusing on improving existing solutions and implementing new ones. Project management and technical solutions are provided for capital projects and enhancements, with an emphasis on governance and minimizing business impact during organizational change management.

Your Role Accountabilities:

End User Support & Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end users, building and maintaining strong relationships to address their needs and clarifications.


  • Design and implement custom Overrides to meet specific client needs, enhancing payroll processing and functionality.


  • Collaborate with the business to implement solutions, supporting organizational change management during cutovers.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical expertise by addressing application challenges and developing custom solutions when needed.


  • Manage enhancements and customizations in Workbrain to meet client, union stakeholder, and payroll needs.


  • Improve the Time and Attendance (T&A) experience by enhancing the application functionality to facilitate employee time entry.


  • Design and implement Custom Conditions, Payrules, Entitlements, leveraging core APIs & Groovy frameworks to meet payroll processing requirements.


  • Develop and configure Entitlements and Accrual policies with Balance Types, implementing custom solutions.


  • Lead coding efforts, including business layer development, interface design, and service implementation, as required for projects.


  • Ensure code quality by conducting peer reviews, raising clarifications when needed, and adhering to coding standards.


  • Maintain integration frameworks (e.g., middleware / transformation and error handling logic)


  • Analyze functional specifications to assess the impact of proposed changes, preparing detailed design approaches for review.

Enhancements & Project Delivery

  • Maintain a pipeline of enhancement and project requests to improve current solutions and implement new ones.


  • Provide technical solutions and project management for capital projects and enhancements, ensuring proper governance and minimal business impact.


  • Lead estimation efforts for projects, ensuring accuracy and feasibility of timelines.

Resource & Workload Management

  • Oversee resource allocation and workload balancing for the offshore team, ensuring alignment with roadmaps and timely execution of deliverables.


  • Monitor and manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics, identifying risks and escalating issues as necessary.


  • Provide technical guidance to ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.


  • Lead and collaborate with offshore technical teams to ensure effective execution and quality delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Facilitate analysis meetings with clients to gather, prioritize, and communicate business/system requirements for enhancements and projects, , ensuring all requirements are thoroughly documented and understood by the team.


  • Ensure alignment with union rules, payroll processes, and overall business requirements.


  • Collaborate with Payroll teams to understand, interpret, and clarify both functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project standards and business needs.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Deliver high-quality documentation, including functional/technical requirements, testing, and compliance with SOX standards.


  • Develop comprehensive enhancement design documents, including timelines and total pricing details.

Business Process Optimization

  • Drive improvements in business processes and align key metrics with OTA/WFM solutions to support organizational needs.


  • Advocate for streamlined workflows, reducing complexity and improving user experience.

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Upper intermediate english
  • Functional knowledge across HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance systems
  • Experience developing and supporting custom solutions for Workbrain modules including, but not limited to Timesheet customizations, Pay Rules, Data Events, Accruals, custom modules etc.
  • Demonstrated success implementing complex union-based agreements, especially under California labor law

    • California labor laws, including daily/weekly overtime, guarantee hours, split shifts, Shift premiums and complex meal/rest break compliance
    • Multi-union configurations and CBA-driven time rules in Workbrain
  • Ability to interpret legal and contractual labor requirements and translate them into system rules/configuration
  • Integration experience with enterprise systems such as Workday, ADP, and ERP/Financial platforms
  • Background working in compliance-heavy industries such as Media & Entertainment, Retail or Financial Services


  • Other Nice to Have:


  • Experience with advanced Workbrain modules such as Labor Forecasting & Schedule Optimization (LFSO) and Multi-View Scheduler (MVS)
  • Experience supporting California-based unionized workforces in dynamic scheduling environments (e.g., film production, live events, broadcast operations, or multi-location retail chains)
