This position will support the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, HBO, Max, and Magnolia Content. We are looking for someone who is proactive, polished, professional, and eager. This role requires the ability to prioritize while handling a demanding, ever-changing calendar in a fast-paced environment. To be successful, candidates must have a strong ability to interact with internal staff and external talent (at all levels) and must be resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. We are looking for someone who is energetic, positive, trustworthy, and hard-working. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who brings solid administrative experience.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Administrative support to include scheduling and maintaining a complex executive calendar, scheduling calls and meetings, processing expense reports, and screening/logging phone calls and emails.
  • Work collaboratively with assistants and executives across various departments such as original programming, production, marketing, media relations, and content planning.
  • Communicate with high-level talent as well as internal and external partners across all WBD departments.
  • Arrange extensive travel, transportation, and hotel accommodations via WBD's corporate travel agency.
  • Other administrative, personal, and clerical duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of desk/executive assistant experience within the entertainment industry; preferably programming or at an agency.
  • Proven ability to multi-task; able to prioritize workload of CEO and oneself simultaneously.
  • Candidate must be able to handle themselves professionally with internal executives as well as writers, producers, talent, and other executives within the industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required.
  • Experience in handling a wide range of administrative tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent matters.
  • A high level of confidentiality, professionalism, prioritization, judgment, organization, accuracy, composure, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to initiate and follow-through on tasks independently - strong self-starter who will take charge and provide support to executives in an efficient manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, virtual workspace essentials like Slack, Call Please, and Zoom, as well as entertainment apps Pix and Scenechronize.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
