Your New Role...

The eCommerce category manager will lead the day-to-day operational activities of the WBD direct-to-consumer e-commerce sites DC Shop and WB Shop. This position will support the development and execution of cross-category strategies to drive growth and increase retail sales. They will work in close partnership with the Franchise, Creative and Category teams to lead product planning, design guidance and franchise prioritization. We are looking for a detail-oriented problem solver, with a fan first mentality that will help drive revenue & extend our world class brands and franchises in the e-commerce space.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Develop and execute category strategies, strategic initiatives, and business roadmap for DC and WB branded shops to drive sales growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with account vendor to maximize sales performance, expand category offerings and elevate onsite shopping experience.
  • Partner with Franchise, Product Development and Category leadership to develop differentiated product assortments for official stores.
  • Deliver Ecommerce Planning Calendar to identify franchise priorities and drive sales aligned to key consumers shopping moments across GCP.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues related to product quality, delivery timelines, or service levels.
  • Manage quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, analyze key data and KPIs, and provide executives with regular updates and standardized reports.
  • Preserve the integrity of the WB & DC brand on sites, execute cohesive storytelling and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Monitor site experience data to identify improvements to taxonomy, on-site search results and product presentation
  • Collaborate with CP and WBD marketing teams to design and execute promotional activities aligned to business and franchise priorities.
  • Regularly review and refine the product mix based on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to enhance category share and sales.

Qualifications & Experience...

Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, category management with background in fashion, toys and collectibles

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • MBA is a plus

Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong licensing acumen and account management skills
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Ecommerce Platforms (Shopify)
  • Proven track record in running a successful DTC ecommerce business
  • Strong organizational/leadership and planning skills required
  • Exhibits high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, SEO, and Google analytics
  • Understanding of industry trends, digital analytics, and ecommerce KPIs
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in tracking KPIs, understanding consumer data, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Strong communication skills & project management skills
  • Ability to develop, lead and improve upon processes
  • Familiarity with WB/DC Brands a plus
  • Must have a customer first mentality
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $95,550.00 - $177,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
