Your New Role

The Director of FP&A, Corporate Functions will report to the VP, Corp FP&A, and Exec Reporting. This role will interface between budget owners, senior leadership, and Group FP&A.

This position supports the senior operational and financial leaders through close partnership and collaboration on monthly forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans. It will provide a critical link between local finance, LOB, and COE teams. They will provide support and will serve as a key finance advisor to management providing insight and advice.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Global FP&A Strategy - Strategically partner across all of FP&A with operations to understand the impacts of various business decisions and initiatives, identify cost-effective solutions, as well as savings opportunities, and business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management - Build relationships with EVPs / SVP leadership along with their respective management teams across the CFO organization. Maintain strong relationships with partners in operations, COE, People & Culture, Accounting. Establish regular cadence of meetings/interactions to ensure information is shared with the team and operationalized.
  • Forecast, Budget and Long-Range Planning - Oversee & support Corp FP&A team in preparation of budgets, forecasts and all associated financial analysis and the presentation to executive level management. Requires a keen understanding of multiple different financial systems. Review, synthesize, and create summaries of financial reports to senior leaders, including identifying key opportunities, risks, and gap-closing ideas.
  • Intercompany Initiatives & Process Improvement - Implement processes and procedures to ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely. recommend, develop and implement new techniques, policies and procedures. Collaborate with C&B team to ensure the financial structure and mapping is accurately reflected for BU leaders. Work with P&C and leaders for org design.
  • Team Management & Development - Train, coach, and develop Corp FP&A team. Driving effective business partnership and influence of the team. Proactively build internal network, participate in F&A learning opportunities, and other trainings. Act in a supportive leadership role, provide guidance and review the work of the COE support staff.

Qualifications & Experience

  • The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably focusing on the media and entertainment industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or similar areas of study
  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-orientated environment.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will enable interaction with a diverse set of constituents across various functions and levels of the organization
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $126,350.00 - $234,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
