Your New Role...
As Digital Production Placement Intern, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of production stages as well as interact with a variety of teams to develop the skills in a Digital Production environment. You will support the day-to-day activities of the Central Digital team; responsibilities will range from general administrative tasks to hands on digital production duties.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Assist the Digital Managers and Producers during development and delivery of projects like microsites, games and stunts by making sure WBD's Editorial best practices are implemented.
- Create design assets that will support all the digital products that the team creates.
- Learn to use the Content Management Systems of our core products and perform content updates and related tasks as required; tasks can include uploading digital content, inserting metadata, inserting SEO metadata, adding or removing users and content migration.
- Support the team during product testing (usability, regression, functional and performance).
- Regularly check our catalogue of live digital products (websites, apps, games, YouTube), take note of any issues or defects, notify the relevant producer/ manager and subsequently assist them with the implementation of fixes and solutions.
- Capture video footage from games and apps.
- Work with team members and other departments to facilitate general production activities to keep projects running smoothly.
- Research digital trends by looking at what our competitors are doing or the top-ranking apps and games.
- Take part in brainstorming sessions and team meetings.
- Assist team members as required with general admin tasks (Uploading assets, Renaming files, Content list updates.
Qualifications & Experience...
- You must be a current University student and in your 2nd year of university, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2027.
- Have an interest in Digital Products (web builds, game & app creation) - knowledge of coding is not required.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Be self-motivated, have a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Willing to learn new skills and interested in working in a team environment.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external parties.
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Words, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Photo / Picture editing tools and video capturing software would be beneficial.
The Internship...
- Salary: £25,000 p/a
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Start Date: 30th June 2025
- You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.

- Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 17th November (you will not be able to apply after this date).
- Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 24th November.
- Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in December & January.
- Stage 4: Interviews will take place January.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
