Your New Role...
Do you have a passion for social media & delivering exciting advertising campaigns?
At Warner Bros. Discovery, you will be reporting directly to the Senior Social Strategy Manager, and joining an exciting new area of the business. We started the commercial social media team in 2022, with the aim to create brands across social that are not only an extension of what we do in the TV & streaming landscape, but become market-leading content creators in their own right.
Within the commercial social media team, we manage the monetization of each of our 60+ accounts in the UK & Ireland across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, X (Twitter) & YouTube, which have a global subscriber count of 72M+. In addition to this, we work closely with the wider commercial team to sell & deliver market-leading paid social media partnerships designed to deliver results, with a number of exciting partners...
This role will span across Entertainment, Sports, Theatrical & Kids genres within our network, and provides an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing area of the team in 2024. As a fully merged business, and the launch of TNT Sports in 2023, this is a brilliant opportunity to be a part of one of the top 3 global media companies.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- The end-to-end management of paid social media partnerships, which will include, but is not limited to:
- Social media copywriting
- Campaign set-up within Meta Ad Manager (and will be extended to Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter & Pinterest in the near future)
- Campaign optimisation & delivery
- Reporting on campaign performance
- Client communication where necessary
- The production of case studies
- Participating in Post Campaign Analysis with Clients
- Working closely with the Sales team on new pitches where we feel Social Media could be an effective delivery tool
- Developing strong relationships with the Digital Marketing team, who are heavily involved in our social media partnerships and manage the organic pages
- Creating social media insights for the Sales team, using our analytics tools such as Tubular Labs, Meta Creator Studio & YouTube Content Manager
- Assisting in the delivery of projects to further enhance our commercial social media offering, which will be led by the Senior Social Strategy Manager
- Reporting on the monetization performance of our organic pages
- Attending industry events where possible, to ensure we remain at the forefront of social media advertising
Qualifications & Experience...
- Previous social media experience (paid is preferred)
- A passion for social media and advertising
- Strong communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys working with a closely-knit team
- Experience using the following platforms is not necessary but would be a bonus: Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads Manager, Meta Creator Studio, YouTube content manager, Google Ads Manager, Snapchat for business, TikTok creator studio, Tubular Labs, Twitter Ads.
- Experience with the following tools: Outlook, Microsoft 365, Zoom, monday.com
- Previous website advertising experience would also be useful
