Your New Role...

Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products Inc. seeks an Associate, Global Promotions & Brand Product. The Associate aids the Director, Global Promotions & Brand Product in the day-to-day operations of a wide portfolio of commercial and strategic initiatives. This is an exciting, global, multi-functional, high visibility opportunity for a generalist looking for diversified experience. The role drives revenue and franchise growth by supporting pitching and execution of licensed promotions and products including but not limited to restaurants/dining, sports, theatrical concessions, financial services, and third party brand campaigns. Additionally, the Associate will support global brand product strategy through co-management of Halo/Cobrand (luxury) product business and maintenance of enterprise-wide guidelines and processes. The position also helps with global and regional alignment on partnerships tied to WBD film releases.

The position requires a motivated, solution-oriented, attentive, collaborative mentality. The incumbent should have strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable liaising with internal and external parties at various levels, including but not limited to other WBDGCP departments (Global Franchise Management & Marketing, Category, Creative, Finance, Legal, etc.), WBD Divisions (Theatrical, Ad Sales, HBO, Home Ent., etc), vendors, licensees, and colleagues around the world.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Manage global halo program approvals, materials, and quarterly regional share-outs/comms
  • Oversee calendars & trackers - department specific and global enterprise shared
  • Input digital marketing support & newsletter requests
  • Research and respond to licensee email requests
  • Collect GBP samples; manage requests for product
  • Aid in pitches and presentations
  • Partner with Brand Assurance, Product Development, and Global Franchise Management & Marketing to ensure that program executions reflect WBD quality and franchise objectives; provide clarity and approvals as needed
  • Update and socialize GBP & Promo guidelines
  • Create and process deal reqs & mods, obtain regional/ category approvals as needed
  • Handle correspondence, timelines, and collection of forecasts, accruals, and royalty statements
  • On-board new licensees
  • Manage NDAs and WB event (summit, Licensing Show, etc.) invites
  • Other projects as required assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience...

Work Experience

3+ years of experience with background in Consumer Products, Licensing, Promotions, or Partnerships required; entertainment experience preferred

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

BA/BS degree with coursework in business, marketing, or related field strongly preferred

Knowledge/Skills

  • Basic licensing or promotions industry knowledge with intellectual curiosity
  • Detail oriented, organized, self-starter, coachable
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects and prioritize assignments
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively cross-functionally
  • Must have the ability to effectively follow-through and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to work with changing priorities; possess flexibility and adaptability skills.
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to create pitch/presentations
  • Strong and varied computer software knowledge required (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, Airtable)
  • Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge is a plus

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $47,597.00 - $88,394.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
