Job Summary:

We are seeking a Contract Management Analyst with financial background to join our dynamic team in the media industry, focusing on the US market. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract management and financial oversight, with a deep understanding of how contract terms affect financial outcomes. This role will involve managing contracts, processing payment/cash milestones, and acting as a liaison between financial planning and TV production teams. Strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management:
    • Manage the interpretation, registration, and tracking of contracts within the organization, ensuring compliance with all internal financial and accounting policies.
    • Process payment milestones and ensure that they are aligned with contract terms and production timelines.
    • Maintain a comprehensive record of all contracts, amendments, and related documents to ensure proper tracking and audit trails.
    • Act as the primary point of contact between the financial planning and production teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of financial expectations and contract obligations.
  • Financial Analysis and Collaboration:
    • Identify potential financial risks or opportunities within contract terms and provide actionable insights to mitigate risks or capitalize on savings.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to evaluate the financial implications of contract terms, including payment structures, pricing, and budget forecasts.
    • Support budgeting/forecasting processes by ensuring contracts align with financial plans and help identify cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Risk and Compliance Management:
    • Monitor contracts for compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • Contract Repository and Planning Systems:
    • Experience with contract management repositories and planning systems is a plus, ensuring smooth contract tracking, amendments, and updates across various platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of experience in contract management, accounts payable or financial planning preferably in the media industry or a related field.
    • Proven ability to manage contract-related financial data and collaborate with finance teams.
    • Experience with contract management systems or planning tools is a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiar with financial software (SAP, Oracle, etc).
