About Team: Sam's Club Tech

What you'll do:

  • Own and drive complex, multi-disciplinary, and multi-product technology projects using techno-functional expertise.
  • Ensure planning through deep discovery, scope, and feature set of programs, understand and articulate detailed requirements with internal customers, and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle.
  • This includes managing schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders.
  • Understand systems interdependencies and lead cross-functional teams towards technical solutions.
  • Document and present Engineering, Scrum and security vulnerability metrics
  • Explain analyses and recommendations to executives and discuss the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
  • Proactively and effectively communicate program statuses, identify potential risks and setbacks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop best practices in a changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery.
  • Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review.
  • Drive and contribute to resource planning to ensure program success and drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
  • This position does not supervise employees.

What you'll bring:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology, retail a plus.
  • Proven experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area; working with a teams of engineers and delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Engineering, Agile and security vulnerability metrics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the implementation phases of technical projects, including the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post- phases.
  • Experience gathering business requirements from stakeholders and converting them into technical requirements.
  • Experience managing prioritizations with engineering teams.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams to define team needs, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and to articulate the technology, requirements, goals, and milestones of the team.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
