About the Position:
As a Senior UX Designer for Walmart Connect, you'll be designing for Walmart's industry defining omnichannel ad platforms at scale to enable Walmart suppliers and sellers to reach shoppers with relevant ads and high performing campaigns while helping shoppers discover products to enhance their shopping journey. You will transform complex workflows and information into easy-to-use experiences while focusing on the systems and patterns that enable our advertisers to use any of our platforms effectively.

- A deep understanding of design systems that include design patterns, components, and guidelines.
- A strong point of view, standing behind your design decisions and advocating relentlessly for design and inclusive experiences

- An ability to explore a variety of design ideas and iterate quickly.
- An ability to navigate multiple work streams with ease and efficiency,
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills. You articulate the problem to be solved and the rationale behind your design decisions.
- Comfort with ambiguity. You embrace constraints and the unknown; you help discover and define the problem space.
- Strategic and tactical points of view to maintain and build design guidelines, such as style guides, pattern libraries, and components that ensure consistency in visual design, interaction design, and user experience.
You will make an impact by:
- Designing at the highest level of craft for a broad population of Walmart Connect users and impacting the shopping experience for Walmart users.
- Creating the experience strategy and setting the design direction for programs that deliver on both user needs and business goals.
- Leading a program of work, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners, and effectively communicating progress while setting realistic expectations.
- Actively soliciting feedback from peers and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product design lifecycle.
- Rapid prototyping and experimenting in a fast-paced environment.
- Partnering with design research to create insightful design solutions.
- Constantly balancing business goals with user needs.
- Championing the Design Thinking philosophy throughout the business.
- Fostering collaboration and partnership with peers, elevating both team members and your own skills.
- Working with the Design System team to expand the component library and create scalable experiences.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 5 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
