Our team works closely with our US stores, eCommerce business, and People Service organization to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.

As a Senior Software Engineer (NICE inContact), this position plays a key role in the Core Contact Center engineering team. The position will be responsible for developing Contact Center solutions. The candidate must be an expert developer in Contact Center systems such as NICE inContact, Genesys, or other contact center solutions. This role works in an Agile process to build and enhance the associate and customer contact journey.

The position will be directly responsible for working with Product teams to understand the requirements provided and convert them into solutions using NICE inContact scripting. The primary responsibility will be the development of NICE inContact scripts, but on occasion, you will also be responsible for building needed Java services and integrating them into NICE inContact for self-serve platforms. The position requires complex NICE inContact scripting and development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Contact Center solutions.
  • Utilize NICE inContact studio scripting and Java to provide a world-class Contact Center experience.
  • Maintain Contact Center systems.
  • Follow best practices in development, including code coverage, testing, monitoring, and alerting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Java development experience.
  • 3+ years of NICE inContact script development experience.
  • Capable of independent development, debugging, and maintenance of complex IVRs, including those with multiple services.
  • Proficiency in Java debugging and maintenance of services needed to support NICE inContact Self-Service.
  • Expertise in Contact Center systems.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
