People.AI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer, Front-end, directly reporting to the Software Engineering Manager. You'll be responsible for being a technical leader, focusing on creating highly performant, scalable, and user-friendly web and mobile applications that exceed customer and business needs. While your primary focus will be writing code and delivering technical solutions, you will also provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers as needed.

What You'll Do

This is a vital role with significant growth prospects. You will have work to do from day one and will be counted on to create opportunities that align with the overall organization goals. Some of the key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Writing high-quality code using React and React Native to develop and enhance front-end applications, both web and mobile.
  • Providing high-quality technical solutions to complex problems, ensuring robust and scalable implementations.
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of our coding standards and practices.
  • Enhancing usage, metrics, and logging details for data-driven decision making.
  • Supporting CI/CD efforts, configuration, and enhancements.
  • Participating in support rotation and helping troubleshoot and resolve any issues within the application in both Desktop and Mobile versions.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and applying this knowledge to improve our front-end capabilities.
  • Mentoring junior engineers in best practices, design patterns, and development methodologies as needed.

What You'll Bring

Some of the skills needed for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience with React and React Native.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing reusable UI components.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Experience with authorization and authentication frameworks and implementing those into mobile and Web applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize application performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and libraries, such as Jest or Enzyme.
  • Understanding of accessibility principles and best practices for creating accessible UI components

Bellevue, Washington US-11075:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
