Position Summary...

What you'll do...

You will be able to design and deliver readable, maintainable, testable, scalable, reusable, and efficient code. You’ll have an opportunity to work in an Agile team with Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to solve most exciting and challenging problems. Collaborate with Backend teams to design & develop mobile apps. Follow established architecture patterns and suggest improvements. You’ll have opportunity to manage the complex challenges of micro service and scale which are unique to Walmart’s e-commerce, stores, and omni-channel platform, while using your expertise in coding, algorithms, complex triaging and analysis, and large-scale system design.

What you'll do:

  • Experience with release engineering driven towards steep KPI goals favoring developer productivity and business outcomes, including but not limited to KPIs such as:

    Build Time, CI/CD time

    Release management for large Monorepo with thousands of engineers’ work every week. Managing KPIs such as:

    1. No of releases per time period

    2. Time taken per release

    3. Debugging tools on deployment failures

    Technical experience requirements:

    1.Jenkins

    2. Any kind of CICD pipeline knowledge

    3. Knowledge of cloud services and Kubernetes

    4. Native development environment tools (XCode, Android Studio, gradle, xcodebuild)

    Lead a team of about 10 engineers who are working in the areas of:

    1. CI/CD development, enhancements

    2. Build script automation, enhancements, tuning

    3. Deployment of Web, Android and iOS apps for Walmart ecommerce in US and other geographies

    4. Monitoring and identifying the bottlenecks in CICD pipeline and lead on improvement areas in the CI/CD pipeline

    5. Mitigation plan for risks identified during major migration activities

    6. MDM Solutions (Mobile Device Management) – Familiarity with tools like Jamf, Mosyle, Kandji, Intune, etc.

    7. Standardized Provisioning Workflows – Defining best practices for onboarding and security compliance.

    8. Asset & Inventory Management – Keeping track of devices, software licenses, and lifecycle.

    Manage, groom, hire a team of 10 engineers comprising of full-time engineers, architects and contractors

    Partner and Stakeholder management

    Co-ordinate and prioritize the dependencies for partner teams

    Cost Optimization – Managing hardware budgets, Android/Apple’s Developer accounts, and leasing vs. buying decisions.

    Training & Documentation – Creating guides, SOPs, and training sessions for IT teams and end users.

    Scalability & Future Planning – Preparing for growth and technological changes in Mac management.

What you'll bring:

    • Apple Certification (ACMT, ACTC) – Useful but not mandatory.


    • Experience with Enterprise Networking – Understanding VPN, SSO, and corporate Wi-Fi policies.


    • Experience working with remote caching solutions

Bellevue, Washington US-11075:The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

Sunnyvale, California US-08479:The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...
