Position Summary...

What you'll do...
• Reviews financial information for assigned business areas including the following: researching balance sheet account variances, discussing business impacts to the P&L within accounting rules, meeting audit requests timelines and providing accurate support, and contributing to the relationship between the team, internal customers, and external specialists.
• Utilizes knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards to perform financial statement analysis and accounting; identifying, correcting, and reporting discrepancies in financial statements and accounting transactions to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
• Manages the mitigation of the company risk exposure by designing and developing system enhancements, and processes: monitoring and improving control environment; ensuring coordination between cross-divisional departments and internal and external auditors; and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP.

• Advises strategic business initiatives by representing controllership in cross-functional projects; analyzing and reviewing detailed plans that involve systems, operations, reporting and accounting; and establishing strong internal controls.

• You are experienced in Month-end close.
• You have knowledge of how high-level accounting impacts business decisions.
• You have demonstrated ability to set up/improve accounting processes.
• You have demonstrated proficiency working cross-functionally.
• You have demonstrated excellent ability to interface with and influence executives.
• You're stimulated by challenges and are ready to operate in Matrix organization with large volume/values of data.
• You are familiar with accounting software including SAP, Blackline, etc.

You'll make an impact by:
• Providing accounting consultation to Finance Partners and other business partners on all accounting matters according to global accounting policies and/or USGAAP.
• Being responsible for accounting decisions related to month-end and quarter-end financial reviews.
• Providing accounting support to the processes that impacts segment financial statement flows.
• Supporting Financial Reporting with Quarter and Year-End external reporting requirements.
• Performing timely account reconciliation reviews ensuring appropriate actions are taken in accordance with the Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation policy.
• Driving transformation and simplification in alignment with the Global Controllership Pillars.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
