The Opportunity
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for security? We are looking for a Principal System and Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic Information Security group. You'll report directly to our group director and play a key role in ensuring we provide frictionless secure solutions to the Enterprise at Walmart scale unlike any other private company out there.

What You'll Do
- Lead the Way: Bring together teams of talented engineers to tackle complex organizational challenges.

- Balance: Find the sweet spot between usability and security, ensuring a seamless user experience.

What We're Looking For
- Experience: 10+ years in IT with a strong background in networking and system internals.
- Expert troubleshooter: With insane ability to look an issue and already know the path forward in gather more information to get closer to root cause of the issue.
- Technical Prowess: Proficiency in WAN/LAN/WiFi, Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.
- Security Mindset: A deep understanding of information security principles and best practices.
- Team Player: Strong leadership and collaboration skills to bring out the best in your team.
- Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 5years' experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
Option 2: 7 years' experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC, Master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 3 years' experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
