About the Role
This is an exciting new role aligned with our Global People Product space, focusing on accelerating our GenAI and AI-driven innovation initiatives. As a Principal Product Manager-GenAI Powered People Transformation, you will collaborate across Global People to plan for and achieve goals within the associated domain or portfolio segment. In this role, you will help establish and understand use cases and processes, conduct business analysis to estimate ROI, drive recommendations, and oversee efforts that gain use case sponsorship. You will focus on outcomes by thinking through, documenting, and communicating value propositions and concrete metrics for success.
What You'll Do
- Product Leadership: Lead the implementation strategy for GenAI-driven transformation.
- Value Proposition: Define and communicate value propositions, success metrics, and outcomes.
- Problem Resolution: Manage resolution of business issues by reviewing data, determining solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Quality Assurance: Document, review, and ensure that all quality and change control standards are met.
- Change Initiatives: Drive change initiatives by identifying desired change, validating value and priority, and ensuring timely project management.
- Process Improvement: Develop, plan, and implement sustainable, repeatable, and reliable processes; oversee process improvement.
- Evaluation and Execution: Oversee evaluation and execution of process improvements, benchmark programs, and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence to create internal customer satisfaction and meet operational metrics while prioritizing external customer needs.
- Strategy Development: Direct development, prioritization, and execution of key business strategies and communication, leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Value Articulation: Understand and articulate the value creation and business proposition to teams and functional partners.
- Capability Planning: Partner with functional and technical leaders to identify and plan capabilities necessary to meet short and long-term business needs.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans in support of key objectives in a timely and fiscally responsible manner.
- Strategic Alignment: Inform and drive strategic alignment and partnerships with functional and technical peers and leaders.
- Project Execution: Execute multiple business plans and projects, identify customer and operational needs, measure progress, and provide resources.
- Holistic Understanding: Connect the dots across multiple levels and related functions to understand the business holistically.
- Market Analysis: Evaluate research and market analysis, meet with third-party vendors and stakeholders, and maintain knowledge of industry innovations and technology platforms to inform strategy.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture internal and external relationships; influence vendors to align to domain, portfolio, and enterprise strategic objectives.
- Growth Leadership: Drive growth for the business by applying technical and domain expertise to provide thought leadership and translate vision into action.
Qualifications
- Experience: Working knowledge of GenAI, AI, and digital transformation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong business analysis skills and comfort working with data.
- Consulting Experience: Experience in management consulting and/or process improvement methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics to diverse stakeholders. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex challenges. Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear, actionable plans.
- Customer Empathy: A strong sense of customer empathy and interest in supporting the organization's goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record in product-led growth.
- Strong proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Tableau, and PowerBI.
- Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and optimization techniques.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Design, Psychology, or equivalent is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages is a plus.
- Experience working with engineering teams to implement growth initiatives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about user experience and customer-centric product development.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
