Manager, Seller Planning (Food)

The Walmart Marketplace is a curated community of respected, professional sellers who offer only top-quality, authentic products and best-in-class customer services.

The Manager, Seller Planning , will be part of the Strategic Initiatives team and will be responsible for executing and communicating sales plans, budgets, and forecasts for the Food Marketplace category business - from a daily to a long-range planning level. You will create, maintain, and improve sales plans and forecasts across the business, with the main objective of ensuring ecommerce metrics (such as traffic, conversion, and AOV) are accurately planned and forecasted. You will work closely with category teams, data & analytics teams, as well as the Marketplace Finance teams.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Utilizing analytics to evaluate and review business performance, predicting outcomes and generating insights and recommendations to enhance decision making
  • Conducting comprehensive category analysis to proactively identify potential risks and capitalize on untapped business opportunities across subcategories, brands, product types, and sellers
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop category and seller budgets and forecasts, leveraging data-driven analytics, trend insights, and business intelligence for future projections
  • Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to align inputs and share output, fostering collaboration and driving alignment Performing planning and forecasting at the category, sub-category, and total Marketplace level.
  • Analyzing sales, categories, and sellers to determine assortment opportunity and drive sales growth.
  • Leading weekly/monthly business reviews, and assisting in the execution and distribution of weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for the team.
  • Preparing teams for lapping upcoming sales peaks and events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field OR 2 years' experience in Business Management, Finance, Omni-Channel Merchandising or a related area
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in Business Management, Finance, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$169,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
